Azaleos Launches CIO Council On Messaging

Azaleos has launched the CIO Council On Messaging, a group on LinkedIn enabling CIOs and their peers to discuss the real issues of managing collaboration environments. The goal of this group is to unite the best and brightest CIOs and share best practices for managing IT organizations with attention to systems management, cost control, emerging technologies and strategic/tactical challenges.
“Our focus is to provide real value to our peers and each other. With Exchange 2010 and "the cloud" moving to the top of many CIO "to-do" lists, I look forward to some strong discussions over the coming months,” says Rick Oppedisano, Azaleos’ Director of Product Management and Marketing.
Unlike many other LinkedIn groups, the CIO Council On Messaging has some very specific rules. “There will be no sales pitches or spam allowed,” says Oppedisano. “We want to have real, substantial discussions that provide value to group members.”
