Azaleos Awarded Patent for Managed Exchange Services Technology

SEATTLE, March 31, 2009 -- Azaleos® Corporation, the managed Microsoft Exchange services company, today announced that it has received a patent from the United States Patent & Trademark Office for the monitoring technology underlying the remote monitoring and management services for Microsoft Exchange and its related infrastructure. Although recognized for its subject matter expertise in managing Microsoft Exchange, it is Azaleos developed technology that enables the company to provide real-time remote monitoring/management for Exchange systems that reside in customers’ datacenters and guarantee 99.9 percent or better uptime.
According to Gartner, Inc., “The externally provided, annuity-based operations and management capabilities offered by remote infrastructure management (RIM) services may increase IT availability and systems performance, and reduce IT deployment risks… As a part of a managed services or outsourcing strategy, remote infrastructure management services allow outsourcing of IT operations, while maintaining control that is unavailable in traditional outsourcing agreements.”
