Phil Van Etten
Chief Executive Officer
Phil Van Etten is the Chief Executive Officer of Azaleos, having served previously as the COO and CFO of the company. He is a 20-year technology industry veteran who has helped early stage companies including Kiva and Sygate become extraordinarily successful. He has also served in senior executive roles in larger organizations such as Baan. Prior to joining Azaleos, Phil was the CFO for enterprise endpoint security provider Sygate Technologies, acquired by Symantec in October 2005. Before Sygate, Phil was the senior vice-president of Investor Relations and the corporate treasurer for the Baan Company, Europe's second largest software company. Earlier in his career, Phil served as CFO of Kiva Software, prior to and during its sale to Netscape. Phil is a CPA and is a graduate of the University of Southern California.

Chris Teets
Vice-President of Worldwide Sales
As Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Azaleos, Chris is responsible for the overall sales strategy and field engagement activities for Azaleos’ direct sales and partner channel team. Chris is a successful sales veteran with over 20 years experience in IT infrastructure, networking and messaging technologies. He was an early adopter in positioning and selling the SaaS/Software plus Services (S+S) model to the marketplace and responsible for growing Azaleos’ Microsoft partner channel from its inception in 2007, to its current National Systems Integrator (NSI) partner status. Prior to his role as sales leader at Azaleos, Chris held various executive sales roles managing multi-million dollar business units in the telecommunications industry with market leaders such as MCI/Verizon Business and Level 3 Corporation. Chris is a member of Microsoft’s Software + Services Partner Advisory Council and actively integrated with several organizations in the Information Technology community worldwide. Chris is a graduate of North Carolina State University and resides in Atlanta, GA with his wife and three children.

Scott Gode
Vice-President of Product Management and Marketing
In his role at Azaleos, Scott Gode is responsible for product management, marketing and communications including strategy and channel. His career includes key leadership positions at Microsoft and Motorola. Gode spent 15 years at Microsoft in variety of senior product management, marketing and product planning roles in the Server & Tools, Office, Windows Mobile and Exchange product groups. Most recently at Microsoft Gode directed global marketing for the IT Pro Audience and before that he was responsible for helping Microsoft to establish Windows Mobile and the Microsoft smartphone devices as marketplace leaders in the industry. Prior to his tenure at Microsoft, Gode worked for both Motorola and American Airlines and was responsible for helping them to launch and market various products in the European marketplace. Gode received his MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University. He also received schooling in Germany and Austria.

Chris Butler
Vice-President of Product Delivery
Chris is an ITIL-certified practitioner in IT Service Management, and has over 15 years working with large financial institutions on infrastructure, support and project management. Chris oversees Azaleos Professional and Managed Services. His teams are responsible for service delivery and management worldwide. Prior to his tenure with Azaleos, Butler was vice-president of Service Management for BB&T, one of the top 10 financial institutions in North America, and spent several years speaking on the benefits of process orientation and delivery within the Operations and Project environments. One of his main goals with Azaleos is to streamline the delivery process with a focus on time-to-deployment and customer satisfaction. Chris is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and holds multiple certifications in Service Delivery and Management.

Scott Parrish
Vice-President of Finance
Scott Parrish joined Azaleos in January 2006 and is responsible for the General and Administrative operations of the company, including Finance & Accounting, Human Resources, Legal and Facilities. Scott has over 12 years experience in providing financial, administrative, and operational leadership to technology businesses ranging from early-stage to established billion dollar corporations. Prior to joining Azaleos, Scott served as Finance Director at F5 Networks, where he led treasury, international accounting, SEC and SOX compliance functions, and due diligence and integration matters pertaining to the company's M&A activities. While at F5, Scott played a key role in supporting the company's growth from $5 million to $400 million in revenues including the Company's IPO and Secondary public offerings. Scott began his career as a consultant for Ernst & Young, LLP. Scott is a graduate of Central Washington University and became a licensed CPA in 1994.

Joel Raper
Vice-President of Technology Solutions
As the vice-president of Technology Solutions, Joel drives adoption and manages partnerships with Azaleos' global strategic partners. Joel brings more than 12 years of technology experience to Azaleos and holds a bachelor's degree in Information Technology. Before joining Azaleos, Joel held senior IT positions at Allegheny Technologies, one of the largest specialty metals companies in the world, where he was responsible for Messaging, Active Directory, and Infrastructure. Joel holds multiple industry certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, and Citrix, and has a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix, with a minor in Networking and Telecommunications.

Lee Dumas
Director of Architecture
Lee Dumas is the Director of Architecture at Azaleos, and has been involved with Exchange and messaging for over 13 years — first as a core member of the Exchange development team at Microsoft and then in various consulting roles. He specializes in architecture and operations specific to Exchange and Active Directory, and is also proficient in other Exchange-related technologies like UM, OCS, and mobile devices. Most recently, before joining Azaleos, Lee spent seven years in "real world" deployment engagements in which he helped companies, ranging from a handful of seats up to multinational corporations with 60,000 or more seats, get Exchange messaging running smoothly. Lee is a pioneer MCA Ranger and has been part of the program since it first expanded outside of Microsoft four years ago.

Kevin Sonney
Executive Director of Technology
Kevin Sonney is the Executive Director of Technology for Azaleos. Kevin leads the Azaleos product development and engineering groups overseeing the ongoing development of software technology to enable the Azaleos monitoring and management services. Kevin’s teams additionally take care of all internal information technology, security and compliance functions. Kevin brings more than 12 years of technology experience to Azaleos and has enjoyed a unique relationship with Azaleos since the founding of the company, starting out as the VP of IT of Azaleos’ third customer ever and now running the development team at Azaleos. Kevin holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Washington and was a Computer World Honors Laureate in 2007.
