The Azaleos SharePoint Healthcheck (and the companion SharePoint Assessment) is designed for the IT staff that implements and maintains the SharePoint Server or Windows SharePoint Services/SharePoint Foundation Services environment.

The Azaleos SharePoint Healthcheck is a multi-day professional services engagement which applies knowledge from both Azaleos and Microsoft best practices. For the current SharePoint customers, Azaleos will identify any liabilities or vulnerabilities in your current SharePoint Server infrastructure and operational processes with a focus on revealing the causes of problems (not just the symptoms) and helping customers take a proactive approach in addressing the problems. The Azaleos goal is to help customers optimize productivity and uncover potential risks before they affect users and drive up support costs. For new or prospective SharePoint customers, Azaleos will work with you to understand how you are looking to utilize and deploy your new SharePoint environment and then help you to architect a recommended system.

Azaleos SharePoint Sizing & Capacity Calculator
This new tool is available for free as part of both the SharePoint Healthcheck AND the SharePoint Assessment offerings. With the SharePoint Assessment, Azaleos will help you to model your current and/or proposed environment and provide you with the results of the calculations. With the SharePoint Healthcheck, Azaleos will model the environment and then work with you to interpret the results and suggest changes based on the outcome of the calculations.

Getting Started
The SharePoint Assessment is a multi-hour remote engagement which allows Azaleos SharePoint experts to examine a current or proposed SharePoint environment and use the SharePoint Capacity Calculator as well as Azaleos best practices to model and then isolate potential SharePoint system design and/or technology flaws or inconsistencies. Time permitting, Azaleos experts may also provide high-level recommendations and feedback for ways to change and optimize the SharePoint system.

The SharePoint Server Health Check and Assessment consists of a Windows SharePoint Services/SharePoint Foundation Services-only implementation, a SharePoint Server implementation, or both. (Please note that the SharePoint Health Check does not address older down-level versions of SharePoint products and technologies prior to the SharePoint 2007 release, such as SharePoint Portal Server 2001 or SharePoint Team Services.)
