Lync HealthCheck
The Azaleos Lync HealthCheck gathers configuration information from your Microsoft Lync Server 2010 and/or Office Communications Server 2007 environments to make sure they’re set according to Azaleos and Microsoft best practices. Azaleos performas a Lync HealthCheck before beginning any deployment, migration or upgrade to a new managed Lync service.
After gathering the data, we compare it against a set of pre-defined rules and report potential issues, as well as current and recommended configurations for every issue reported.
We also examine your hardware (both servers, gateways and endpoints devices) configuration to identify opportunities for reducing total cost of ownership.
The Azaleos Lync HealthCheck will:
- Verify that the configuration is set according to recommended best practices
- Generate a list of issues, such as sub-optimal configuration settings or unsupported options
- Judge the general health of a system
- Troubleshoot specific problems
- Identify how many and what kind of IP PBXs you’re using
- Find where PBXs are located relative to user concentrations
- Examine benefits of changing network configuration or protocol
- Benchmark existing hardware against what is most appropriate for end user needs
- Inform you of available updates
- Provide online and local documentation about reported issues, including troubleshooting tips
- Generate configuration information that can be captured for later review
